Coaching/Mentoring and Positive Feedback Skills for Team Leaders and Managers
This intensive workshop targets discussions relative to techniques, methods and processes necessary to establish the best possible inter-working relationship between leader-managers and team members.
Part I focuses on pragmatic individual and group activities such as:
- Selecting and retaining the best candidates
- Encouraging accountability
- Building successful, integrated teams
- Giving and receiving feedback
- Managing the coaching meeting (utilizes a coaching skills self-assessment)
- Facilitating goal setting and "buy-in" by team members
Part II directs itself toward:
- Formal and informal performance management
- Techniques to elicit favorable response to feedback
- Definition of mutual goals, measurability and criteria to be used to ensure achievement of objectives
- Appropriate empowerment through situational leadership
- Motivational tools to unlock individual enthusiasm and loyalty
