Coaching/Mentoring and Positive Feedback Skills for Team Leaders and Managers

This intensive workshop targets discussions relative to techniques, methods and processes necessary to establish the best possible inter-working relationship between leader-managers and team members.

Part I focuses on pragmatic individual and group activities such as:

  • Selecting and retaining the best candidates
  • Encouraging accountability
  • Building successful, integrated teams
  • Giving and receiving feedback
  • Managing the coaching meeting (utilizes a coaching skills self-assessment)
  • Facilitating goal setting and "buy-in" by team members

Part II directs itself toward:

  • Formal and informal performance management
  • Techniques to elicit favorable response to feedback
  • Definition of mutual goals, measurability and criteria to be used to ensure achievement of objectives
  • Appropriate empowerment through situational leadership
  • Motivational tools to unlock individual enthusiasm and loyalty
